About the Role
As a Newborn Hearing Screening Technician, you will perform hearing screens on newborn infants in a busy Newborn Nursery/NICU hospital setting. Your responsibilities include conducting screenings prior to patient discharge, providing education to parents about the importance of hearing screening, and maintaining hearing screening equipment. You will work closely with nursing staff and coordinate post-discharge follow-up care as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- One (1) or more years of healthcare or childcare training/experience, or related college curriculum is a plus.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to function independently in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to attend all company provided training.
- Willingness and ability to learn and operate hearing screening equipment.
