About the Role
As a Part Time NP/PA, you will work collaboratively with physicians to provide patient care, including assessments, diagnoses, and interventions according to approved protocols. You will also support physicians in maintaining patient care, provide office coverage during their absence, and prescribe treatments as necessary. The position requires participation in clinical research and the incorporation of current research findings into practice.
About You
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current Texas professional registered nurse license or Texas professional physician assistant license.
- Certified as a Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Certified as a PA-C.
- Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
Preferred:
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience or 2 years experience as a PNP or FNP in a primary care setting.
- Experience in a pediatric primary/specialty or acute care setting.
