About the Role
As a Part Time Parks Maintenance Aide - Electrical, you will provide assistance in the maintenance and repair of park facilities, grounds, and buildings. Your responsibilities will include performing manual work, cleaning and preparing work sites, driving vehicles for transporting crews and materials, and ensuring safety practices are followed. You will assist in carpentry, electrical work, painting, plumbing, and other maintenance tasks under limited supervision.
About You
Required:
Must have passed their 18th birthday.
Possess a valid United States motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license.
Pass the complete examination, including the employment medical established for this classification.
Successfully complete the six (6) month probationary period.
Preferred:
Physical condition that will permit lifting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods.
Reasonable knowledge of the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive, and/or manual tasks.
Ability to maintain personal cleanliness and a presentable public appearance.
Ability to follow standardized oral and written instructions.
Ability to work and cooperate in a team effort.
