Summary
Optum is seeking a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Hot Springs, AR. The role involves supporting all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
About the Role
As a Part Time Pharmacy Technician, you will provide exceptional customer service, fill prescription orders, manage pharmacy supplies, verify medication stock, assist in pharmacy compliance, and perform various clerical duties. You will work approximately 20 hours a week, with flexibility to cover for PTO and call outs as needed.
About You
Required:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arkansas.
- Ability to use your own car to make deliveries when needed.
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.
Preferred:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
