About the Role
As a Part-Time Recreation Aide, you will work under the supervision of the Site Director to provide a safe and positive environment for participants in indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Your responsibilities will include supervising children, maintaining positive interactions with parents and school officials, and promoting safety procedures. The role may also involve performing other related tasks as required.
About You
Required:
- General experience or interest in working with elementary and/or middle school-age youth.
- Red Cross Certification of First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer (must be completed within the first 90 days of employment).
- Ability to maintain equipment and facilities at a recreation site.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Preferred:
- Experience in recreational program facilitation.
- Ability to utilize First Aid and CPR skills in case of emergency.
