About the Role
As a Part-time Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for recommending and administering both basic and advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, including arterial blood gases and trauma care. You will function as a resource to junior respiratory care practitioners and participate in advanced patient education while being actively involved in departmental operations.
About You
Required:
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Two years of critical care experience.
- Two of the following certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPFT, RPFT, RPSGT, Asthma Certified Educator, NRP Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor, or BLS Instructor.
