About the Role
As a Part Time Scrub Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field and surgical instruments during procedures, assisting surgeons and the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols, setting up operating rooms with necessary equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the OR environment, and collaborating effectively with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a scrub technician in an OR setting.
- Strong knowledge and application of sterile technique.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
