About the Role
As a Part Time Sleep Technologist, you will work under the supervision of the Medical Director to conduct various sleep studies and tests, including home sleep apnea tests. You will also be responsible for initiating and monitoring PAP therapy and supervising other technical personnel. This position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care and effective communication with medical staff.
About You
Required:
- Credentialing by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist: Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Polysomnography Technologist (CPSGT).
- Credentialing by the American Board of Sleep Medicine: Registered Sleep Technologist (RST).
- Credentialing by the National Board of Respiratory Care: Certified Respiratory Therapist-Sleep Disorders Specialist (CRT-SDS) or Registered Respiratory Therapist – Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS).
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR or BCLS certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Effective customer service skills and age-specific cultural competencies.
