About the Role
As a Part-Time Student Factory Automation, you will assist in programming PLCs and HMIs, support continuous improvement projects, and troubleshoot shop floor issues. This position is designed for students to work alongside their academic schedule year-round.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Data Science.
- Registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
- Ability to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year and 35-40 hours/week during the summer.
Preferred:
- Understanding of network connectivity requirements for equipment.
- Experience programming in Python, Visual Basic, and SQL.
- Previous experience with Gen AI.
- Knowledge of computer vision systems.
