About the Role

As a Partner Sales Director, you will work closely with Canonical GSI partners throughout their sales cycles, facilitating Ubuntu-based solutions and opportunities. You will be responsible for building trusted relationships, increasing market share, and leading business interactions from engineers to CxO level. Your tasks will include negotiating contracts, collaborating with marketing and product management, and leading executive engagements, with the ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

About You

Required:

Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles.
Deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred:

Extensive experience with OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and other Cloud technologies.
Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on, get-it-done mentality.
Ability to capture customer requirements, evaluate gaps, identify and create opportunities.
