About the Role
As a Patent Agent, you will be responsible for meeting with inventors and drafting patent applications for filing in the USPTO, prosecuting patent applications, collaborating with clients and attorneys to develop claim strategies, managing a docket of cases, and assisting with various prosecution and counseling matters.
About You
Required:
- 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and professional service skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and work in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer/software, mechanical engineering, chemistry/biochemistry, biology, physics, or IPR/litigation experience.
- Positive attitude toward client service.
- Self-starter with commitment to success and personal professional growth.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $120k - $140k, based on experience.
- Eligible for trimester bonuses of up to $15,000 and end-of-year discretionary merit and productivity bonuses.
