About the Role

As a Pathology Specialist, you will manage the operations of the Anatomic Pathology section, assist in developing mission statements and objectives, perform daily surgical pathology functions, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will also be responsible for gross examination and sectioning of surgical pathology specimens, ensuring accuracy in specimen processing, and participating in workload capture and data collection for various reports.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's or graduate degree in a medical field related to health sciences or allied sciences.
Specialized training and graduate degree recognized by NAACLS of Pathology Assistant.
Board certification by ASCP as PA (ASCP).
One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11.

Preferred:

Experience managing daily human surgical pathology functions.
Familiarity with regulatory, licensing, and accrediting agency requirements.
