About the Role
As a Patient Access Rep, you will act as a receptionist, greet clients and visitors, make appointments, maintain front desk schedules, collect necessary information for client registration, verify benefits with insurance carriers, and monitor authorizations and reimbursement processes. You will also perform light secretarial duties and participate in the development of procedures to enhance current practices.
About You
Required:- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one-year experience working with Third Party Payers or in a human service office environment.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Moderate mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of spreadsheet and word processing software.
Preferred:- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to maintain effective communication and professional relationships with external contacts.
