About the Role
As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for greeting them, verifying demographics, creating and routing documents, collecting payments, and scheduling appointments. You will also assist with financial arrangements, manage registration errors, and coordinate referrals and interpreter services. Additional duties may include preparing charts, organizing documents, and tracking patient visits.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Customer service skills essential.
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education helpful.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
- Six months' customer service experience desired.
- May require BLS for certain locations and/or settings.
