About the Role
About You
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare, Medicaid) and payors.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Fluency in English; written and oral communication.
- 2 years of patient registration and insurance verification experience in a health care setting.
- Emergency Department registration experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Fluency in both English & Spanish (required in the El Paso Market).
