As a Patient Access Specialist, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered customer service, scheduling appointments using a computerized system, registering patients, verifying insurance eligibility, and maintaining confidentiality of patient health information. You will also assist with clerical duties and may work as a Float Medical Receptionist at various clinic locations.
About You
Required:
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Experience with multi-line telephone systems.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with computerized scheduling systems, preferably Cerner.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
