About the Role
As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for the prompt and accurate submission and follow-up of all third-party claims, posting insurance payments, and managing electronic remittances. You will work closely with center leaders and insurance companies to resolve claims issues and ensure timely payments. Your role will also involve maintaining records of claim denials and assisting with reports related to accounts receivable.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1-3 years healthcare experience in a managed care, revenue cycle, or billing office setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology or concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Dentrix.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records and billing practices.
