About the Role
As a Patient Accounts Counselor, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely filing and follow-up of all claims for assigned accounts. You will also manage the movement of accounts through the collection cycle, requiring strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Analytical and organizational skills must be above average.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, documentation, and public relations skills.
Preferred:
- Five years of hospital billing experience preferred.
