About the Role
As a Patient Accounts Rep, you will be responsible for obtaining and verifying patient demographic and financial information, ensuring proper data collection for billing, and coordinating with patients and insurance companies for authorizations. You will also assist patients with payment arrangements and provide information regarding their financial responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of third-party health insurance authorization/validation.
- Ability to set payment arrangement terms and collect payments.
Preferred:
- Experience with Epic ADT/Cadence and/or Billing.
- Minimum of two years experience in a hospital, physician setting, or health insurance company.
