About the Role
As a Patient Accounts Specialist, you will be responsible for filing claims with appropriate payers, generating daily billing reports, transmitting billing electronically and manually, performing applications and insurance company payments, evaluating denials, maintaining financial files, coordinating with staff for third-party verification, and processing financial evaluations for eligibility of sliding scale.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Two years of medical third-party billing and collection experience required.
- Two years’ experience working with a desktop computer and related software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
Preferred:
- Experience with Medicare.
