About the Role
As a Patient Assistant / Companion, you will be responsible for continuously observing patients to ensure their safety, assisting nursing staff with patient searches, adhering to visitation restrictions, accompanying patients during diagnostic testing, and maintaining sight of patients requiring close observation. You will also recognize and report any concerning behaviors or changes in patients' conditions, while demonstrating compassion and sensitivity to patient comfort and privacy.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions and perform basic math functions.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
