About the Role
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be responsible for performing basic patient care activities of daily living (ADLs), conducting hourly rounding to ensure patient needs are met, and documenting care administered. You will work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, promote a positive work environment, and contribute to improving patient satisfaction and safety scores.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Completion of PCA externship, PCA internal internship, or six months of direct patient care experience.
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor certification (AHA).
Preferred:
- Enrolled in a school of nursing program with a completed first clinical rotation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
