About the Role
As a Patient Care Associate, you will be responsible for taking direction from the RN for patient care assignments and ensuring effective communication with all members of the healthcare team. Your duties will include applying hospital computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care delivery, as well as demonstrating knowledge of basic medical terminology and standard precautions.
About You
Required:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Maintain active CNA license from the State of Florida or successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals BLS from the American Heart Association
- Less than one year providing patient care
Preferred:
- At least one (1) year providing patient care
- Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team
- Ability to read/write in English
