About the Role

As a Patient Care Leader in the Emergency Room, you will provide operational and clinical leadership during your assigned shift. Your responsibilities will include serving as a clinical resource, coordinating patient-centered care, and leading a diverse team in a dynamic environment. You will utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to ensure high-quality patient care while managing multiple priorities and working under stress.

About You

Required:

BSN preferred or enrolled in a BSN program by 1/7/2017 with completion by 12/31/2019.
2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a charge nurse or leadership role.
Current licensure as RN in Illinois.
Strong clinical skills and ability to lead in a dynamic environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and work cohesively with a diverse work group.

Preferred:

Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center.
CPR certification.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers.
Experience in patient-focused care and conflict resolution.
