About the Role
As a Patient Care Nurse Assistant, you will be responsible for reporting abnormal findings to the RN, assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities, maintaining cleanliness in patient rooms, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. You will work day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday. The position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a stressful environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required within new hire period.
- Ability to read, write and speak English and to follow oral and written instructions.
Preferred:
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred.
- Nursing students who have recently completed a minimum of one clinical rotation as part of an accredited nursing school program.
- Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered.
