About the Role
As a Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCNA), you will work alongside registered nurses to provide essential care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. Your responsibilities will include preparing patient rooms, documenting care, taking vital signs, assisting with treatment procedures, and ensuring patient safety. You will also be involved in pre-operative and post-operative care, as well as maintaining cleanliness and order in the patient care environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon hire or within new hire period
- Prior job or educational experience providing basic computer knowledge and skills
Preferred:
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
- One year of recent acute care experience
