About the Role
As a Patient Care Tech, you will assist nursing staff with daily patient care activities, monitor and record vital signs, assist with personal hygiene and grooming, provide emotional support to patients and their families, and maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Additional training or certification in patient care.
- Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
