About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be responsible for sanitizing and cleaning patients' rooms, monitoring patients' health and vital signs, and assisting patients with basic needs such as feeding and grooming. You will act as a liaison between patients and nurses, provide high-level customer service, and document patient care accurately and timely. Your role will also include mobilizing patients and fostering their independence.
About You
Required:
- Successful completion of nursing aide training program or equivalent certification.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred upon hire).
Preferred:
- Recent experience in acute care, physician's office, home health/hospice, or long-term care facility.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training.
