About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with patient hygiene, meeting elimination needs, setting up patient rooms for new admissions, documenting vital signs, and maintaining patient privacy. You will also assist nurses in admitting patients, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and follow safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- CNA certification or successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to interact effectively with others.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality standards appropriately.
- Must communicate effectively (both written and verbally), be organized and self-directed.
