About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide essential patient care based on physical, psychosocial, and safety criteria appropriate to the age of the patients. Your responsibilities will include ongoing communication with patients and healthcare team members, participating in interdisciplinary collaboration for patient care plans, and performing various clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, drawing blood, and assisting with hygiene and comfort care.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Technician program, or equivalent medical background experience.
Preferred:
- Experience or certification in phlebotomy and EKG.
- At least one year of PCT or CNA experience in a hospital setting.
