About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols. You will assist in patient education, perform vital sign checks, and document treatment parameters accurately. The role also includes training new staff and participating in quality improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Must meet state and/or national certification requirements for dialysis.
Preferred:
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility.
- Successful completion of CPR certification.
