About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. You will also engage in customer service, maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare team members, and participate in quality improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. and must meet certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
Preferred:
- Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification.
- Successful completion of the FMCNA dialysis training program and CPR certification.
