About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for delivering patient care based on physical, psychosocial, and safety criteria. Your daily tasks will include ongoing communication with patients and healthcare colleagues, participating in interdisciplinary care plans, and engaging in performance improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Technician program, or equivalent medical background experience.
Preferred:
- Experience or certification in phlebotomy and checking EKG, vital signs, and blood sugar.
- At least one year of PCT or CNA experience in a hospital setting.
