About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will work closely with registered nurses to develop and implement patient care plans, maintain patient safety, and report patient activities. Your responsibilities will include developing competencies as delegated by nurses and ensuring the safety of patients at risk for preventable injuries.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 years related work experience required.
- Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate web-based applications.
Preferred:
- Patient care experience through CNA, MA, ED Tech, EMT, PCT certificate, or currently enrolled nursing student who has completed at least one clinical rotation.
- Completion of BIDMC in-house training program.
- Candidates from Allied Health, Pre-Med, and Physician Assistant programs.
