About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care, providing safe and hygienic dialysis treatment. You will monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, including measuring and recording stats, and setting up hemodialysis machines. You will also build long-term relationships with patients suffering from end-stage renal disease and educate them on kidney dialysis topics. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple clinics and various shifts.
About You
Required:
- Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
Preferred:
- Health care experience including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
