About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assisting with patient care needs, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe environment for patients. Your duties will include lifting and transferring patients, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.
About You
Required:
- Eligible to work in the US
- Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association (to be obtained within 90 days of hire if not current)
- Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and ability to prioritize
Preferred:
- Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course
- Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing
- Basic computer skills
