DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients in their Home Hemodialysis (HHD) program in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves assisting patients in training to dialyze at home, promoting independence while managing kidney disease.
About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will assist with patient training for home dialysis under RN supervision, prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, monitor and record patient vitals and treatment responses, support follow-up care, supply tracking, and telehealth check-ins, and provide technical and emotional support throughout HHD training.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Comfortable with blood, needles, and medical equipment.
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
- Flexible schedule (may include weekends or holidays).
- Willing to train and float across clinics as needed.
Preferred:
- CNA, MA, CHT, or healthcare experience.
