About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician II, you will be responsible for performing basic nursing procedures, assisting Registered Nurses in the care of patients, maintaining patient dignity and privacy, and documenting patient care in electronic medical records. You will also participate in quality initiatives, manage unit activities, and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience as a PCA, PCT, NA, LPN, EMT, or military experience as a Hospital Corpsman, Combat medic, or Medical Service Technician.
- 1 year in an acute or long-term care facility or currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing program.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficient in Phlebotomy and straight catheterization.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearance certificates.
