About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician II, you will be responsible for performing basic nursing procedures, assisting RNs in caring for acutely ill patients, and maintaining patient comfort and safety. Your daily tasks will include documenting patient care, participating in quality initiatives, and performing unit upkeep activities. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and be expected to manage time efficiently while completing assigned duties.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience as a PCA, PCT, NA, LPN, EMT, or military experience as a Hospital Corpsman, Combat medic, or Medical Service Technician.
- 1 year in an acute or long-term care facility or currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing program.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficient in Phlebotomy and straight catheterization.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
