About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician II, you will assist in the delivery of patient care by performing specific tasks as directed by the Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges, obtaining and recording vital signs, and demonstrating competence in advanced skills such as oral suctioning and tube feeding setup. You will also communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide personalized care to patients and families.

About You

Required:

High school diploma or GED.
AHA BLS provider certification course required within 90 days from date of hire.
Minimum of three (3) months experience as a PCT or currently in a junior semester of an Associates or Bachelor’s nursing program.

Preferred:

General knowledge of high school subject matter including sciences and simple medical procedures.
Experience in a healthcare setting.
