About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician III, you will be responsible for performing basic nursing procedures, assisting Registered Nurses in the care of patients, maintaining patient dignity and privacy, and documenting patient care in electronic medical records. You will also participate in quality initiatives, assist with patient admissions and discharges, and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience as a PCA, PCT, NA, LPN, EMT, or Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman, Combat medic, or Medical Service Technician
- 1 year in an acute or long-term care facility or enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing program
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient in IV insertion, phlebotomy, straight catheterization, and continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
