DaVita Kidney Care is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic located in Pinehurst, NC.
About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Your responsibilities will include delivering safe and hygienic dialysis care, monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs and patient data, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
About You
Required:
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (GED) credential, or equivalent.
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
- CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.
