About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will spend much of your day in direct one-on-one patient care, providing safe and hygienic dialysis treatment. You will monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, including measuring and recording vital statistics and setting up hemodialysis machines. The position requires building long-term relationships with patients and educating them on kidney dialysis topics, while working under the supervision of a registered nurse.
About You
Required:
- Desire to enter the health care field to care for others.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
Preferred:
- Health care experience including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption.
