About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care, providing safe and hygienic dialysis treatment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, setting up hemodialysis machines, and building long-term relationships with patients suffering from end-stage renal disease. You will work in a cross-functional team under the supervision of a registered nurse and will be required to have a flexible schedule to accommodate varying shift hours.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
Preferred:
- Health care experience including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
