As a Patient Coordinator, you will welcome patients and their families, check patients in, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and collect payments. You will ensure a comfortable experience for all visitors and handle various front office tasks as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0 - 2+ years of experience in a customer support role or hospitality field.
- Strong customer service background and focus.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform accurately and efficiently on a computer.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a physician practice or medical services office.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting.
- Medical records experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
