Summary
RadNet is seeking a Patient Education Specialist to join their team in San Bernardino, CA. The role involves providing consultation services and educational support to patients regarding breast health and early detection.
About the Role
As a Patient Education Specialist, you will offer dedicated consultation services to screening mammography patients, provide clear information about the importance of regular screenings, address patient concerns, maintain accurate records of educational efforts, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and assist in campaign roll-outs. You will work closely with the Vice President of Women’s Health Services to drive growth in EBCD conversion rates.
About You
Required:
- Prior experience in patient education and healthcare communication.
- At least 2 years of experience in training and presenting information to individuals or groups.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in breast health education or radiology.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and address varied health literacy levels.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
