About the Role

As a Patient Hospitality Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing communication and productivity by interacting with patients of all ages, families, employees, and medical staff. You will coordinate patient flow through the access area to ensure timely registration and arrival to service areas. This position may also require the deployment of legal, ethical, and compliance-related documents to patients at the time of registration.

About You

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Preferred:

Knowledge of Health Care regulatory guidelines including HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, Sarbanes-Oxley.
Knowledge of insurance contracts, collections, authorizations, and pre-certification.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
