Summary
Independence Health System is seeking a Patient Host Hostess to join their team in Butler, PA. The role involves managing meal service processes, including menu selection, meal ticket processing, and tray delivery while providing excellent customer service.
About the Role
As a Patient Host Hostess, you will be responsible for both front and back of the house meal service processes. This includes introducing the menu process, obtaining menu selections, navigating patient profiles, delivering and collecting trays, and supporting patient satisfaction initiatives. You will also handle phone requests, process meal tickets, and ensure adherence to sanitation guidelines.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in customer service, food service, retail, nutrition, or hospitality.
- Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
- Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
Preferred:
- Experience in a Healthcare setting.
- ServSafe Food Safety Certification.
