About the Role
As a Patient Registration Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for collecting and entering patient demographics, educational, and financial information. You will also verify insurance eligibility, manage appointment scheduling, and ensure accurate data entry and balancing of daily activities. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential as you will work closely with the health care team to optimize patient outcomes.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or relevant experience.
- 1 year of experience in a health care setting in data entry/medical records/receptionist preferred.
- Computer literacy.
Preferred:
- Bilingual: Fluent in English - (Spanish or Creole).
- Passion for customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people of varied cultures.
