About the Role
As a Patient Representative, you will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, gathering and entering demographic and insurance information, scheduling appointments, and providing financial information. You will also resolve patient financial issues and ensure compliance with billing and coding standards. The position requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service experience.
Preferred:
- Medical Terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding knowledge.
- Associate's degree in a related field or 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA).
